I loved the hell out of this years crop of films. For the past weeks I’ve been catching up relentlessly on the films I’ve missed or have rushed through in the competitive end of the year scramble. Maybe I’ve missed some or skipped some, but I am confident of the films I’ve loved.
I’m happy to say I didn’t see very many bad films in 2014, but that also made it difficult to narrow down my 10 favorites and choose which ones I liked better than the other. Nonetheless, I’m proud of my outcome. Hope you enjoyed your movie going experiences and check out some of these films you may have missed. Before we get started, here are some honorable mentions…

Today marks the first day I’ve written the date with the year 2014 on it! But now it’s time to look back on the year 2004. A time where movies started using more “groundbreaking” CGI, but if you revisit them now they look like… well… absolute shit. It’s another week of “Today: A Decade Ago!!!”
